7 days from Hanoi to Sai Gon

Day 1 Arrive Hanoi .
Pick up upon arrival and transfer to the city for short tour around Hanoi.
The Old Quarter of Hanoi is referred to as the city of ancient 36 streets and districts. These streets represented professional guilds of the ancient Vietnam Capital that we can even find nowadays. Travelling by a cyclo from the hotel, we pass many French influences including Hanoi Opera House, the State Bank and the former Governor's palace. Afterwards, we journey around beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, tour the Hanoi Cathedral built in late 19th century. Finally, we wander the lively old streets filled with traditional crafts, having some great bargain before we return to the hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi sight seeing halfday . Relax at Hanoi Qi Spa
Starting from the hotel, we drive to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's First University, tour its remarkable architectures and learn about the Confucius religion. Continuing on, we visit the Quan Thanh Temple, well known for its bronze statue of Tran Vu, see the oldest Royal Pagoda of Tran Quoc. Finally, We leave for the impressive Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, visiting his wooden cottage and tour the Ho Chi Minh Museum's displays with messages of Peace, Happiness and Freedom. We then wander the historical Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh stated his declaration of independence on September 2, 1945.
Break time for lunch and you will then enjoy your time in Hanoi Qi Spa ( various services at Qi Spa - basic/special/packages spa are free at your choice) . Back to hotel and the rest of the day you will be free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi-Halong. Enjoy Qi Spa on boat.
Morning drive to Halong bay. Enjoy a cocktail at the quay at Tuan Chau before boarding to Emeraude, a wonderful replica of one of the classic steamship of the colonical era of French Indochina. With 37 luxurious air-conditioned cabins, a restaurant, two bar and a sundeck this is the ultimate Halong bay experience. Lunch is served on board at 13.00. A sun set cocktail is served on the sun deck at 18:30 followed by a buffet dinner between 20:00 and 23:00. Overnight on board the Emeraude.
Whilst cruising on the emeral green water of the Bay, enjoy your spa onboard ( various services at Qi Spa -basic/special/packages spa are free at your choice) .

Day 4: Halong Depart. Hanoi-Hoian
Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Tuan Chau quay. Early morning Tai Chi is an optional extra on the sundeck from 6:00 to 7:00 before breakfast. Arrive back at Tuan chau at 8:30 for depart.
At 10:00, Pick up at the pier and transfer back to Hanoi, then transferring to the airport for afternoon flight to danang. Car transfer Danang-Hoian.

Day 5: Halfday sightseeing in Hoian. Relax at Hoian Qi Spa
Leaving hotel for Hoi An Town, recently recognized as a World Heritage Site, we walk its narrow streets with charmingly preserved 200 year old houses, combining the typical architectural styles of Vietnam, China and Japan. We also see the historical covered bridge, the famous Chinese Pagoda Phuc Kien and the vibrant market on the bank of the Thu Bon River.

Overnight in Hoian
Day 6: Hoian-Danang-Hue. Flight Hue-Saigon
Leave Hoi an for Hue. Travelling through pine forest and lush hills about 7Km southwest of Hue, we reach the mausoleum of King Tu Duc, a miniature of the Royal Palace, which harmonizes perfectly with the nature surroundings. On the return, we visit the King Khai Dinh's Tomb with completely different architectures from any of other Nguyen King's Tombs. This burial place combines aspects of both Vietnamese and French influences, including the decorative styles of each culture.
Transfer to Hue Aiport for Flight Hue -Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 7: Halfday Saigon city tour. Enjoy Qi Spa Saigon
This city's attractions provide a wealth of opportunity to learn about the country's ancient realm. The historical museum features a collection of artifacts and relics, representing the evolution of Vietnam's cultures. Later we drive to the Reunification Hall built from 1963, which still houses everything left after April 30, 1975. We tour the banquet room with a large oil painting, the State Chamber and the Cabinet room that was used for daily military briefing during the war .
After lunch, relaxing at Saigon Qi Spa ( various services at Qi Spa -basic/special/packages spa are free at your choice) and free at leisure
Day 8: Depart
Transfer to aiport for departure flight. Home sweet home! |
